The connection that is already installed at 32 shelters becomes positive step to provide basic needs for public transport users.

It is hoped the remaining 112 shelters will be installed soon.

PAM Jaya Director, Arief Nasrudin, said the cooperation is aimed to support clean water service transformation manage by PAM Jaya fully and is an effort towards 100 percent clean water service coverage for Jakarta residents in 2030.

"That is why PAM Jaya brings synergy between Regional-Owned Enterprises by cooperating with Transjakarta in providing clean water at its shelters," he said, Wednesday (1/31).

According to him, the monitoring of PAM Jaya's water supply in toilet and ablution (wudhu) area is important to make sure the supply is going well.

"PAM Jaya's existence in public facilities such as Transjakarta shelter is vital since many people now using the bus and shelter facility is developing much," he added.

Meanwhile, PT Transjakarta Director, Welfizon Yuza, the availability of clean water at Transjakarta shelters will complement the perfection of public transportation services. This is because the needs of public transport customers are also increasing, both in terms of mobility and facilities at Transjakarta shelters.

"Toilet and praying room (musala) become the basic needs at Transjakarta shelters," he said.

As for the information, the cooperation is signed under the Memorandum of Understanding for both sides in providing and maintaining the facility.
